Milan Fashion Week has come and gone. Although these big name griffes are not the main focus of this e-magazine, I do like to offer a brief wrap up, because they do set the stage for the trends to come.
With the exception of a few designers, Milan Fashion Week remained somber, practical, and elegant as always.
Versace mixed in a bit of Roman gladiator costume amongst the suit and ties.
Armani spiced up next summer with some male nipple.
Etro threw in an ethnic flair.
Moncler revived the cape.
Desquared united butch with skirts.
Moschino worked the patters.
And Ferragamo cooled us down with a tidal wave of color!
My favorite collection was definitely Roberto Cavalli who dazzled us with touches of neon, combing formal jackets with the casual tees, all the while styling with fun fabrics and prints as he emphasized a deep electric blue.
So the winner of Milan Fashion Week SS13 in my opinion is Roberto Cavalli. Post your favorites and the reason why you chose in the section From Our Readers.
