Next to the official AIFW shows, there is always a broad selection of upcoming talent showing their collections or installations throughout Amsterdam under the guise of "Fashion Week Downtown".fORS is a young design duo consisting of 2 german girls, Bettina Keller and Patricia Neubauer.
They presented their looks for AW2011/12 in "traveling store" nuzyn.
This is how they described their collection and presentation themselves: "Inspired by the image of men — both unassailable and heavily in decay — fORS presents a multilayered collection for men and women that plays with the current ambiguous state of masculinity. The exhibition will present the collection in an installation mixing video, photography and the collection's garments."

Follow me into the Abysss is a joint exhibition by Karin Wolters and Jacob Kok with works inspired by survival techniques in the deep sea. Using the shapes and colors of different kinds of life forms the two designers each made their own collection and created a world of their own that you are welcome to enter at Artpocalypse Collective.
