"It's not what you wear, its how you wear it" or "It's all in the attitude" or "You wear the clothes, don't let the clothes wear you"... and so on, and so on.
Every time I see Carine Roitfeld or Emmanuelle Alt I think these truths. These ladies just wear it. What ever the article of clothing is, they wear it like it was made just for their body. Whether is cost 5 dollars or 5000, they wear it all the same. Fur, feathers, leather, who cares! They were made to wear it all. And their swagger in heels is intimidating. They walk across all surfaces — grass and rocks — without stumbling or getting stuck. Amazing. They could walk for miles and run marathons in heels. How do they do it?
And here I am, too timid to wear my Isabel Marant bomber jacket out of the house, and foolishly stumbling around in my Chloe heels. They say the 20's are supposed to be the best. But I'm looking forward to my 30's and all the confidence my age will bring.
